The day comes, we go to Cusco, we board the flight. CITY TOUR CUSCO

MACHUPICCHU

When we arrive in Machupicchu, you will be able to know all the history that surrounds this mysterious place, where you can take impressive photos. At the agreed time, we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, for free time. Finally, we will board our train back to the city of Cusco and upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. magical peru

You will leave the station to start the bus trip to Puno; On the way you will enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the South Valley of Cusco. First you will visit Andahuaylillas, well known as the Sistine Chapel of America, a city where you will find a beautiful church of the 21st century, with an impressive organ decorated with angels and cherubs.

RAQCHI

Then you will visit the ruins of Racchi – also known as “The Temple of God Wiracocha” – those that have different areas that were used for various purposes. At the end of this visit, you will enjoy a delicious and typical buffet lunch at a local restaurant. After this you will know the archaeological site of Puca-Pucara, a military construction that also functioned as an administrative center. Finally, you will arrive in Puno. This day we will visit Lake Titicaca and its islands by boat, the excursion begins with the floating islands of the Uros, famous for its unique way of life, in this Aymara town they build their houses on large totora rafts and moored by stakes that do not allow that the islands drift, the people who inhabit these islands live from fishing, crafts, hunting and collecting eggs that are sold in the city of Puno.

TAQUILE ISLAND

The tour continues to the island of Amantani, In the place we can make a small walk along the paths of the island. There we can also climb to Pachatata (4,200M) and from this place we will have spectacular views of the Cordillera Real de Perú -Bolivia and all the natural surroundings of Lake Titicaca and if time permits we will see the sunset over the lake and mountains surrounding. The next day from the island of Amantani we will depart to Taquile, this island is covered with terraced crops in the style of the Incas, its inhabitants live in a traditional way, a kind of communism where the property is private but the work is collective; About 300 people work in the community one day for themselves and others for the community.

It is self-sufficient and lives according to the Inca principles of “do not steal, do not lie, and do not be idle” customs that have been maintained for centuries.
