Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO – OLLANTAYTAMBO – ABRA MÁLAGA – PIZPITILLO
Pick up from your hotel in Cusco between 06:30 am to 07:00 am, we will depart towards the Sacred Valley, where you can appreciate the beautiful landscape of the Urubamba River valley, arriving in Ollantaytambo for a short break and buy what is necessary for the trip .
ABRA MALAGA
We will continue in our transport to the Abra Málaga where the bike ride begins, we will descend for approximately 03 hrs through small villages, streams and waterfalls, until we reach the town of Huamanmarca where we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
Once lunch and rest are complete, we will begin our adventure by rafting for two hours on the rapids of level III and IV (optional activity). Then, we will walk to the towns of Santa María and Santa Rosa. An additional 45-minute walk will take us to the lodge, where we can enjoy the surrounding landscape along the way.

DAY 2: HIKE TO SANTA TERESA
After a delicious breakfast start the walk along the edge of the Vilcanota River, ascending for approximately 30 minutes, on the way we can observe coffee plantations, fruit trees, you will notice the great variety of wild plants and orchids. In addition we will see varieties of birds, and other animals if the opportunity is given.
URUBAMBA VALLEY
Upon reaching the top from where we can appreciate the entire Urubamba Valley, we will begin the descent hike for about two and a half hours, we will arrive at the village of Qellomayo, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. Then we will walk for another 3 hours, observing fields, streams and waterfalls until we reach the thermal baths of Santa Teresa. We will continue until we reach the town of Santa Teresa.

DAY 3: SANTA TERESA – HYDROELECTRIC – MACHU PICCHU PUEBLO
Starting with an early breakfast, we will head out on our walk from the town of Santa Teresa toward Hidroeléctrica. Afterward, you can enjoy the Zip Line activity with the group, followed by transportation to Hidroeléctrica.
MACHUPICCHU
In this place we will taste a delicious lunch and we will continue walking for approximately two and a half hours, until we reach the town of Machu Picchu, we will receive the guide’s indications to reach our accommodation, after getting settled and at the coordinated time we will have a meeting with the guide ; who will explain to us about the visit to Machu Picchu the next day.inca jungle trek to machupicchu

DAY 4: VISIT TO MACHU PICCHU – RETURN TO CUSCO
The day we were all waiting for has arrived, one of the 7 wonders of the world and World Heritage Site by UNESCO, we will wake up early and after breakfast option to walk or board the bus to Machupicchu, with an approximate journey of 30 minutes arriving at the citadel of Machupicchu.
We will have a guided tour of 2 hours and 30 minutes to know the most important places of Machupicchu, you can visit the most impressive places such as the Royal Mausoleum, the temple of the 3 windows, the main temple, the Sacred Plaza, the famous Intihuatana where the wise Incas tied the sun on the winter solstice in June, staircases, squares, fountains, etc..
HUAYNAPICCHU
Following the tour, you will have a few more hours of free time to visit Machu Picchu on your own. If you wish, you can climb one of the mountains—Huayna Picchu (advance reservation required). You will then need to return to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy (depending on availability), where our transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.inca jungle trek to machupicchu

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
- To climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu or Machupicchu mountain, there is a limit of spaces per day, it is recommended to check availability with us and book in advance.
- The pick-up, arrival and train schedules are referential, this will depend on the availability of the train company.
