Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO – KM 104 – WIÑAYHUAYNA – AGUAS CALIENTES
We pick you up from your hotel in Cusco very early between 03:30 am and 04:00 am, to take you to the Ollantaytambo train station (02 hours trip), there we will board the train that goes to Machu Picchu, but We will only reach kilometer 104. Where we will start our walk, on the way you will see spectacular views of the farmland, we will visit the archaeological site of Chachabamba, which was possibly built for religious purposes. Continuing with the walk we will have our first rest to taste some snacks while we observe the beautiful landscape of the vegetation both flora and fauna.
We will continue until we reach the archaeological site of Wiñayhuayna, a beautiful Inca construction that had different functions.
After this impressive visit we will recover energies delighting in a delicious box lunch and in the surroundings we will appreciate beautiful views of mountains full of vegetation. We will continue the walk to Intipunku, where we will have a spectacular view of the Inca citadel.
We will continue our walk to Aguas Calientes where a delicious dinner awaits us, and where we will also spend the night in the reserved hotel.

DAY 2: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO
Came the magical day we will wake up early and after breakfast option to walk or take the bus to Machu Picchu, we will make a 30 minute trip coming to the citadel. We will have a guided tour of 2 hours and 30 minutes to know the most important places of Machupicchu, you can visit the most impressive places such as the Royal Mausoleum, the 3-window temple, the main temple, the Sacred Square, the famous Intihuatana where Incas sages tied the sun on the winter solstice in June, stairways, squares, fountains, etc.
After the tour you have free time of a few more hours to visit Machupicchu on your own and if you go if you want to climb one of the mountains – Huaynapicchu (must be booked in advance) Then you will have to return to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy (Depends on availability) where our transport will wait for you to return to Cusco.inca trail 2 days

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
- Frequency of departures: We have groups for the Inca Trail every day of the year. Less February, when the Inca Trail is closed throughout the month. The month of February you can visit other alternate walks to Machu Picchu and also by train. More is not possible to do the Inca Trail. (Consult us)
- Availability: Only 250 people per day are allowed to the Inca Trail for 2 days. This figure includes tourists, guides, porters and cooks. The quotas are for all people who wish to make the Inca Trail. So to make the Inca Trail it is essential to book months in advance. The availability of seats for the Inca Trail is the same for all agencies.
- To climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu or Machupicchu mountain, there is a limit of spaces per day, it is recommended to check availability with us and book in advance.
- We always do our best to follow the fixed itinerary, however it may change from time to time based on temporary weather and park restrictions, availability, weather, road closures, guest / injury capacity and natural events such as fires and floods.
