Itinerary

DAY 1: CUSCO – QUESIUNO – PAMPA CAMP

Ready for the adventure, at 5:00 am I pick you up from your respective hotel, for a 4-hour trip by private car at the beginning of the trail, on the way we stop in the town of Checacupe to enjoy the ancient Inca / Colonial bridge , also on the way we stopped at the beautiful location of the Andes to take full photos, Quesiuno 4,326 masl / 14,189 ft. We will start our hike to Hampatuyoc (1½ hour walk to the lunch area). After approximately 3 and a half hours walking up, we arrive at Camp Pampa 4,885 masl / 16,026 ft. DAY 2: PAMPA – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN VINICUNCA – CUSCO

Today we will enjoy the complete views of the Rainbow Mountains of Cusco.

This morning we will climb through dark red mountains to the Vinicunca Pass 5,020 masl / 16,466 ft. For the first spectacular views of the Rainbow Mountains “The Ausangate region is incredibly colorful with a magical landscape,” Then we will begin to descend to one of the Andes meadows with incredible views of glacial peaks, lakes, mountains and others.   • We always do our best to follow the fixed itinerary, however it may change from time to time based on temporary weather and park restrictions, availability, weather, road closures, guest / injury capacity and natural events such as fires and floods.
